Waratahs forward Jed Holloway is set for an Ireland stint this summer, signing a short-term deal with Pro14 side Munster.
Holloway will join the Irish heavyweights as World Cup cover at the end of September and will stay with the club for two months as the team attempts to cover the absence of a host of their international stars.
The Waratah will be back in Australia well in time for the Janaury kick-off of Super Rugby in 2020, announced on Tuesday.
Holloway has played 52 matches for NSW and has been on the fringes of the Wallabies squad in recent seasons, able to play as a backrower or lock.
The 26-year-old will be reunited with Aussie Stephen Larkham in the move, after Larkham joined the team as an assistant coach for the next three seasons.
The utility forward follows in the footsteps of Will Skelton, Christian Lealiifano and Henry Speight as players who have spent limited stints overseas in recent years.
