The candidate rosters of participant countries have been announced prior to the 2014 FIVB Volleyball Women’s World Championship that is going to take place with the host of Italy in between 23 September – 12 October 2014. VakifBank ISTANBUL achieved the success to be the club who has the most players in National Team nominated rosters in the World Championship with its 13 players and 2 coaches.

 

The participant countries have announced their candidate rosters prior to the 2014 FIVB Volleyball Women’s World Championship that is going to take place with the host of Italy in between 23 September – 12 October 2014. Hereunder, the Head Coach of VakifBank ISTANBUL, Giovanni Guidetti is going to coach German National Team while the Assistant Coach Ferhat Akbas will take place in Turkish National Team along with 8 players and 5 players from another participant National Teams (Brazil, Bulgaria, Netherlands and Serbia) have been invited to Italy.

Thus, VakifBank ISTANBUL prevailed to be the club which sends the most players to the World Championship by sending 13 players to National Teams out of their 14-player squad who are going to take place in VakifBank ISTANBUL in 2014-2015 season.
