Due in large part to a Money in the Bank cash-in from Alexa Bliss, Ronda Rousey was not able to defeat Nia Jax for the Raw Women’s Championship at Money in the Bank. However, it appears that there may now be an opportunity for Rousey to compete for the Smackdown Women’s Championship instead. Current champion Carmella is in Australia right now and she just stopped by The Hot Breakfast show for an interview earlier this week. During the interview, Carmella called out Ronda Rousey and seemed to challenge her to a match. Ronda Rousey may be suspended from Raw right now, but perhaps she could move over to Smackdown soon for a championship feud against Carmella.

WWE typically goes all out for their NXT Takeover events, which is why some of the most memorable entrances in recent history have come from those shows. While there has been no shortage of memorable NXT entrances, WWE has just released a video on their YouTube channel of the top five entrances from past NXT Takeover events.  The likes of Finn Balor, Aleister Black, and Bobby Roode all managed to make the cut, but it was none other than Shinsuke Nakamura’s entrance from NXT Takeover: Brooklyn II that secured the top spot on WWE’s list. Fans interested in checking out which Takeover entrances WWE deemed as the best may do so by watching the video posted down below:

It has become increasingly more common for WWE to occasionally send an NXT, 205 Live, or NXT UK competitor to an independent wrestling event over the years. WWE rewards independent promotions that they have a working relationship with by sending some of their biggest names back to the indies for just one night, and the company just did the same during the EVOLVE 107 show for EVOLVE Wrestling last night. NXT’s own Adam Cole appeared at the event last night for a match against WALTER. Although WALTER put up a good fight, fans in attendance have confirmed that Cole retained his North American Championship after hitting several shining wizards and superkicks.
