After their loss in the six-man tag-team match on Tuesday night’s post-SummerSlam episode of 205 Live on the WWE Network, The Singh Brothers took to social media to talk about what it meant to them to be able to perform inside the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

The Singh Brothers – Sunil and Samir Singh – were joined by Ariya Daivari to take on the trio of Kalisto, Lince Dorado and Humberto Carrillo in one of the featured matches on this week’s show, which was taped after SmackDown LIVE on Tuesday night in WWE’s fourth straight night inside Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, ON. (NXT TakeOver: Toronto II on Saturday, WWE SummerSlam 2019 on Sunday and WWE RAW / WWE Main Event on Monday).

Carrillo was a late-replacement for Gran Metalik, who was pulled from the match after WWE filmed and released a mystery backstage attack segment prior to the start of this week’s show.

Following Tuesday night’s 205 Live, Sunil and Samir took to Twitter to write about the personal significance last night’s match inside Scotiabank Arena held for the two lifelong WWE fans.

“Thank you Canada,” wrote The Singh Brothers via their official Twitter page late Tuesday evening / early Wednesday morning after 205 Live wrapped up. “Tonight was special.”

From there, the duo elaborated on the personal importance of Tuesday night’s match.

“In 2008 we snuck into the [Scotiabank Arena] and tried to land a job with WWE,” they wrote. “Got kicked out.”

They continued, “11 years later, we finally got to perform in Toronto, at the [Scotiabank Arena].”
